The GBC20 mobile application is dedicated to Geneva Blockchain Congress 2020 which will take place January 20th, 2020 in Palexpo, Geneva, Switzerland. It gives the user meaningful content such as the agenda of conferences, information on speakers, exhibitors, and a map.
Also the app contains a Contacts feature, accessible only to authenticated participants. This feature lists the participants who opted-in at event subscription time to be in this list. As a participant you may decide to opt-in or opt-out anytime from this list, through your profile page in the app (be aware that changing opt-ins/opt-outs need an Internet connexion and may take several minutes to be taken into account). The participant information published in this list includes lastname, firstname, organisation, role, and may include for speakers Linked-In profile, organisation website and a photo.
Moreover, each participant may contact other participants and also may decide anytime to accept to be contacted or not. The contact procedure uses email only. As a user,to contact another participant, just tap the envelope button on your contactee page. Our servers will then email your contact request to him/her, on your behalf. Your contactee may either ignore the email or answer positively to you, also through email. The email of each participant, is collected at event subscription time.
Contact requests and positive answers are counted by our servers, for the sake of statistics. Precise contact information such as who contacted who is treated as a confidential information and is neither accessed nor used by PALEXPO or any third party, for any usage.
Beyond opt-out, you have the right to require complete deletion of your personal data from the mobile app server. For that purpose, please write to contact-gbc20@mobile-spot.com.
In any case user's data on the mobile app server will be deleted after 3 months.
By logging-in to the app, you accept the above terms of use of the Contacts feature.
The app allows you to prepare your visit by bookmarking events, speakers, exhibitors, services and participants. These favorites are not analyzed by PALEXPO or by any third party.
The app uses the equivalent of cookies to collect anonymous usage data, such as what page was seen, or how many times was the app used. These statistics are not correlated with the identity of the user if the latter is logged-in. The collected anonymous data is kept 23 months then deleted.
The content of the app is under responsibility of PALEXPO.
