The ParisAirShow mobile application is dedicated to the 2019 Paris Air Show trade show which will take place from june 17th to 23rd, 2019, in Paris, Le Bourget, France. It is meant to give the user meaningful content related to the trade show such as information on exhibitors, aircrafts, events and services, and to facilitate orientation and way finding on the trade show site thanks to an interactive map and geolocation services. The app is public and is for all participants of the event : visitors, exhibitors, press, etc.

The ParisAirShow app allows the user to locate himself on the interactive map. This geolocation service is available outdoor in the limits of the trade show site and indoor in the halls 1, 2A, 2B, 2C, 3, 4, 5 and 6, the Concorde Hall (Paris Air Lab) and the Careers Plane. The user is asked to authorize or forbid the geolocation services for this app at first launch of the application. Geolocation will be active only if the user allows it and the user may forbid it anytime through the side menu of the application. Also, to obtain geolocation in indoor areas - where GPS does not work - the user is required to switch Bluetooth on. Once geolocation is active, the user can see his position on the map as a blue dot and also may receive location based notifications set by SIAE in some areas of the trade show. The user's position is stored on the user's smartphone. It is not sent to a remote server nor shared with any third party.
